Residential & Supported Independent Living
Access to these services are managed by a regional Co-ordinated Access process. Community Living Owen Sound and District staff can assist you to make application.
Supported Homes
Community Living Owen Sound and District offers a limited number of homes and locations which offer staff support 24 hours per day. These homes typically support 3 or 4 people and are long term in nature. Adults living in these settings, may attend a day option, access services through the supportive networks of Community Living Owen Sound & District or Ontario Disability Employment Support Program supports (ODESP).
Independent Living Services
Adults, 18 years of age and older who live independently in the community can access support from staff to help manage their daily independent living routines. Support typically is limited to one or two hours per day although it can be higher during transition stages. Often people will have room mates to help share expenses.
