Community Living Owen Sound and District is governed by a twelve member volunteer Board of Directors, elected annually by the Members.  The Board meets monthly for approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours.  There are comprehensive  Governance Policies in place which defines the roles and responsibilities of the Board and the staff allowing the Board to focus on governance and policy issues.  Directors come with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.  For further information or to volunteer contact us at 519-371-9251.

For more than 50 years, Community Living Owen Sound and District has worked to bring people and their communities together by developing and promoting its capacity to welcome and support those with developmental needs to participate in community life in meaningful and productive ways. 

As a member of Community Living Owen Sound and District you can become involved and support our efforts in a variety of ways.  Members receive our periodic newsletter “Perspectives” and an invitation to any Membership meetings that are called.  Members elect the Board of Directors who govern the affairs of the Association.   An affordable membership fee is charged for an annual membership or Lifetime memberships are also available.
